AI automation

Good people.Too much work by hand.

The documents they search for. The information they copy between tools. The calls and emails that become another round of chasing. Show me how the work gets done. I’ll take responsibility for a sensible way to improve it.

Start with the working day.

As your AI automation consultant, I help you choose useful changes and build them into the way your business works. Established businesses often have useful information and capable people spread across systems that do not quite work together. Your team becomes the connection: finding, copying, sorting and following up.

I work with the people doing that work. We look at representative tasks, the systems involved and what happens when the straightforward case breaks down. Then we decide where a change is worthwhile. You do not need to pick an AI model or automation platform first.

The result might use internal AI, document processing, voice workflows or an integration between existing tools. It might also be an existing product or a simpler process. We choose the approach around the job.

Know what is worth changing.

A defined starting engagement · Automation blueprint

If the first move is unclear, I work through the process with your team and deliver the flows, priorities and implementation scope. This is paid work prepared for your business, with scope and fee agreed before we start.

  • The current workflow, bottlenecks, people and systems involved.
  • Prioritised opportunities with assumptions, dependencies and reasons.
  • A proposed flow for the first worthwhile improvement, including exceptions and human checks.
  • The data, access, integrations and responsibilities the implementation needs.
  • An implementation scope and a way to judge the result, with the operating costs and rollout questions made visible.

You can use the output with your own team or have me lead the build. A focused feasibility check can be included where we agree that it answers the key uncertainty.

Build it into the operation.

Connect the systems.

I build or lead the internal tools, integrations and workflows we agree. The scope includes what data is available, what the system may do, who can use it and where a person needs to review or decide.

Test it with the team.

A convincing demonstration is a starting point. We test representative work and failure cases with the staff who will use it, agree acceptance checks and prepare the instructions and training needed for the release.

Decide who looks after it.

We name the operating owner and agree the initial support and handover. I can stay involved to monitor, maintain and improve the systems as the business changes. A stable tool your team can run does not automatically need a continuing engagement.

We agree how to judge improvement: for example, end-to-end handling time including checking and correction, unresolved work or accepted output. We judge improvement against a real baseline, including the checking and correction the workflow still needs.

Work across the whole operation.

Before you ask.

Do you work with established businesses?

Yes. A repeated operational problem, the people doing the work and a business owner able to make decisions are a useful starting point. You do not need to be a startup or have an engineering team.

What do you need from us?

A person responsible for the process, representative examples, approved access to the relevant systems and staff who can test the work. We agree data boundaries and permissible actions before selecting the implementation.

What happens when the AI gets something wrong?

The workflow needs appropriate review, exception handling and a way to correct or escalate problems. We agree those boundaries and test relevant failure cases as part of the scope.

Can you implement the blueprint?

Yes. I can lead implementation and stay involved with the systems where that is useful. You can also take the blueprint to your team. The scope, fee, third-party running costs and acceptance checks are agreed before the build.

Let’s take 30 minutes.

Bring me the question.

Tell me what you’re dealing with. I’ll share how I’d approach it and help work out a useful next step. You’re welcome to use that advice whether or not we work together.
